If you want to make a pledge, we may ask you to provide the following information:

  • Job title

  • Production company

  • Agency

As of the date of this Privacy Policy, we do not use cookies. In the future, we may log information using "cookies." Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive by a website. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on our Site. This type of information is collected to make the Site more useful to you and to tailor the experience with us to meet your special interests and needs.

We use the Information collected to do the following: 

  • Name & Job Title: we will list your name on the list of pledgers

  • Email: 

    • we will use your email to say “thank you,” or respond to your comments, questions and provide Services;

    • we will use your email to communicate events or activities which we may offer. You can always unsubscribe these emails via the opt-out link within the email or by emailing Change The Lens at

  • Your production company, agency and union affiliation: we will list these on our Site so people can know what production company, agency and union pledged specifically.

  • Provide our service to you: Most of the time, the reason we process your information is to perform the contract that you have with us. For example, if you make a pledge by providing us with your name, job title, production company, agency and union, we list these information on our Site to implement your pledge..

  • Legitimate interests: We may use your information where we have legitimate interests to do so. For example, if you provide us with your email, we use it to email you to say “thank you,” or communicate events or activities which we may offer, which you can opt-out.

  • Consent: From time to time, we may ask for your consent to use your information for certain specific reasons. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at the address provided at

  • Legal Compliance: When it is necessary for us to use your information to comply with a legal obligations.

  1. Is Information Collected by or Disclosed to Third Parties by using the Services?

Our Services are directed toward a general audience and are not directed at nor intended for use by children.  We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. “Do Not Track” is a feature enabled on some browsers that sends a signal to request that a web application disable its tracking or cross-site user tracking. At present, Change The Len does not respond to or alter its practices when a Do Not Track signal is received.
